Concept: Mathematical Sequences/Functions/Patterns

There are many mathematical sequences, functions, and patterns which could be elegantly translated onto the Pausch Bridge. We plan to explore patterns and mathematical concepts such as the Pythagorean Theorem, prime numbers, pi, Fibonacci Sequence and Perfect Squares. We will not only display the patterns themselves, but explore concepts and ideas behind these mathematical sequences, such as derivations. The visual representation on the Pausch Bridge would both be an artistic display and an explanation of mathematical concepts. We would explore color, patterns, and motion in light as representations of math.
