Course Guide¶
Welcome to Interaction & Expression Using the Pausch Bridge Lighting, cross-listed as 15-661 and 62-661. This course has been offered a number of times since Fall 2011 by Prof. Cindy Limauro in collaboration with varied co-instructors. The Spring 2024 iteration is the fourth with Dr. Garth Zeglin as technical co-instructor.
Please note, our first class meeting is Thursday March 14 at 5PM. We run this as an “A4” mini in the second half of the semester so it is a little warmer for nighttime light show testing.
This semester we will continue to focus outcomes on producing new visual compositions for the bridge lighting which could potentially enter the long-term repertoire. Continuing this year will be an option for audio accompaniment.
The following course pages include the agenda for each meeting, plus technical documentation and sample code for supporting projects on the Randy Pausch Memorial Bridge.
