F22 Course Kit¶
In general, all parts used in course projects are borrowed from the lab and are returned after the project is completed, documented, and disassembled. The exception is that each student will receive a kit of essential parts and a box to keep them in; these will be yours to keep at the conclusion of the course if you wish. These parts will be distributed during class in stages.
The course has a budget which will cover reasonable uses of laser-cuttable materials, 3D printing, and additional non-stocked items upon approval. Students are not expected to pay out of pocket for additional project materials, although some choose to do so in order to own their own products or use unusual materials.
