I was somewhat successful with improving my learning on this aspect, sometimes reverting to extrude cut when things became hard to navigate. I especially had trouble with extruding my already made cut because I had used the baseplate as my base and cut out most of the bottom. I realized that I needed to either start over, or combine the bottom of another base plate using the combine feature. This took me a ridiculously long time to figure out, but it worked out! I had to make space for the driver, which the motor controls, ultimately accelerating the ball. I whittled down the wood myself to create rods for holding up the motor, and sometimes had difficulty with the motor seeing if it would work or not.

slabakis_3dprint1-copy.STLDownload

Intent/Outcome: In the first SolidWorks homework, I wanted to focus on strengthening/learning more about how to properly extrude without having to use the extrude cut on a pre-made…

[1
