Artistic Inquiry – My idea began by thinking about the concept of a suitcase being a symbol of both security and risk. How your own suitcase keeps your things safe, but other people’s suitcases, especially if you are at an airport, are unknown and in particular an abandoned suitcase becomes an object of suspicion and possible danger. What if, the suitcase itself had feelings and when left abandoned could cry out?
