A final piece could manipulate the participant&#8217;s vision using mirrors, focal lenses, etc. This project is inspired by the comedic idea of navigating our world using gestures that seem unnatural in a physical context:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"326\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/courses.ideate.cmu.edu\/16-480\/s2021\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/ezgif-2-0dbeeeee7293.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2468\" \/><figcaption>1. Panaround, Karen Cheng<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A past research paper that explored this idea was &#8220;Put that there&#8221; a gestural\/voice based concept to manipulate visual information. The limitation to this concept was that it needed to be done in a space with built-in sensors.
