This week, we made a successful jellyfish with all 3 pumps. This is the same body as the previous week but we added more tolerance to the mold and were more careful during the bonding process. We also used the UV florescent pigment to the flap of the jellyfish and tested the effect with the UV light. The 3 motor pumps were attached silicone epoxy onto the body, each motor controls one tentacle independently.
For control, we directly powered the motors with the 5 volt power source. Next week we intend to use the Pico to individually actuate each motor. However, we need another motor controller chip since each chip only has 2 channels.
