ASSIGNMENT 1: GLOBAL GAME JAM – Jan 31-Feb 02
Your first team assignment for this class will be to participate in the 2020 Global Game Jam, which will be held the third weekend of the semester (Jan 31st – Feb 2nd). Students will participate at the Carnegie Mellon jam site in Tepper Quad (hosted by the Pittsburgh chapter of IGDA). Students will be assigned to teams in class, and participation in this event is mandatory. Admission for students of this course has been covered by IDeATe. Details for signups and further information will be distributed in class.
ASSIGNMENT 2: BETTER BASKETBALL (Due Feb 16)
Basketball is famous around the world, and there are many video games built around it. Now it is your turn to make it even better.
ASSIGNMENT 3: PLATFORM GAME
Side scrolling and jumping over and onto things since before you were born.
