“Rice” is one of Lin Hwai-min’s dance work series “Cloud Gate”, which is first shown in Taipei, 2013. The dance is inspired by Chinese traditional farming culture, showing spirit of nature and Lin’s thinking of birth and death.

After showing indoor, Lin brings all dances back to Chishang paddy field to give a show. The ground, paddy and nature become scene of these show.
