“Invisible Cities” by Christopher Cerrone of The Industry (2014)
Presented by The Industry opera company and the L.A. Dance Project. Invisible Cities, adapted from the Italo Calvino novel, was performed in downtown LA’s Union Station train station amidst commuters, skateboarders and vagrants. The orchestra performed from a separate wing of the station and the performers and audience members listened to the music through headphones.
