IDeATe Media Lab (HL A10A)¶

We will be using the Media Lab in Hunt A10A for coursework. This space has its own documentation on the fixed equipment plus room-specific policies.

• IDeATe Media Lab Reservations. Please be courteous when making reservations and only claim time you will use. Please mark your reservation as ‘Freely Available’ if it would be acceptable for other users to be present simultaneously.
• Media Lab github repository. This includes sample Max patches for the lighting grid, a guide to the audio console, lab policy, etc.

1. The IDeATe Resources web site includes the reservation system, fabrication policies, machine tutorials, cluster software, and reference material.

5. The CMU BioRAFT site is the portal for signing up for safety training and documentating completion of required training. Use of the IDeATe laser cutters requires completion of the Fire Extinguisher Use course.
