{"id":1482,"date":"2022-10-13T10:06:33","date_gmt":"2022-10-13T14:06:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/courses.ideate.cmu.edu\/60-461\/f2022\/?p=1482"},"modified":"2022-10-13T10:06:33","modified_gmt":"2022-10-13T14:06:33","slug":"painter-in-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/courses.ideate.cmu.edu\/60-461\/f2022\/sensoruncensored\/10\/13\/painter-in-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Painter in Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently went to the Westmoreland Museum of Art, and saw Matt Bollinger, <i>Between the Days:\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Between the Days\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/234157890?h=e88c766685&amp;dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"840\" height=\"630\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I usually do not appreciate digital art as much as I do painting. To expand these horizons is part of the reason I took this course, and Bollinger&#8217;s combination of the two was entrancing.<\/p>\n<p>I plan to do something similar, but instead of a stop motion conveying a narrative, I plan to create a stop motion of the process of creating my paintings. I usually document my process, taking photos of my canvas after each painting session, but haven&#8217;t done anything with these photos before.
