The materials used are wool, acrylic, cotton, hemp, jute, metallic fibers .The weaving resemble the disheveled elegance of the bright and busy Coogi sweaters popular in the 1990s. They are \u201cunstable, uncertain, and unmonumental,\u201d she explained\u2014humble, fragile qualities that inspire Friedman. \u201cThe work does not strive for perfection in a traditional craft sense, but more for emotion and storytelling in an abstract way,\u201d she said. The weaving is about 102 x 96 in and the weaving was made in 2018.
