Core Concept<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The core concept of my final project is creating a dress. I have always wanted to make a piece of clothing, especially a dress. I want to make it unique in the sense that it is a dress that caters to what I want and not the average person. Something that is a bit ruffly on the bottom, and has nice ribbons on certain parts of the dress, and all comes together. Especially important is that the dress is fitted to myself and I am able to wear the dress, so learning how to tailor-make a dress for a certain customer almost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choice of Materials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The choice of materials I use include cotton\/linen for the dress so that is it is breathable. I am thinking of using white as ruffle white dresses are really pretty, but yellow could work too. And the usual sewing thread and needle to sew the dress together. For the ribbons, I will use red ribbons as well as laced and a logo ribbon to add more liveliness to the dress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timeline:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 23-26 – Draw sketches, create mock-ups, keep brainstorming designs and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

12\/1 \u2013 Finish sewing of entire dress<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12\/4 \u2013 Fix all parts of dress which requires fixing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12\/8 – Finish all final-touches and sewn ribbons<\/p>\n\n\n\n
