This course will allow students the opportunity to evaluate different learning systems considering socio-economic, cultural, gender, and urban-rural related equity issues. Students will learn about different usability evaluation methods, design improvement recommendations, and receive feedback from experts in the field.

- Read and apply insights from academic papers discussing equity issues in the learning sciences
- Evaluate public education solutions using different usability evaluation methods
- Conduct user testing with different demographics of users
- Present research insights with design recommendations to experts
- Think more critically about equity issues when designing educational solutions
