Midterm Grade: How you are doing on your Participation Points? This makes 10% of your grade.  If you have not posted images on Pinterest and/or have been consistently late to class, you have lost the 10 points. Talk to Natalya about how you can earn these points back.
Work Day: drafting, sewing, fitting Sleeveless Shell/Tunic
Demo: tying a knot, running stitch and when to baste by hand, Hems, Juki, Overlock
Oct. 23   
Due: decision on pants or top for the final project. Students cut the piece of fabric for  Sleeveless Shell/Tunic to be washed or dyed and identify it with a hand sewing initial.
Work Day: dyeing fabric for Sleeveless Shells, fitting Sleeveless Shell/Tunic

Due: Sleeveless Shell/Tunic
Presentation: Necklines, Contouring, Sleeves, Collars, Closures. Final Project Introduction: Top or Pants
Demo: sewing a set-in sleeve

Email: day-by-day action plan for Top or Pants
Work Day: drafting a fitted sleeve
Nov. 6
Work Day: fitting for bodice and sleeve

During the following weeks, students follow the submitted day-by-day action plan. Short demonstrations may be scheduled.
