Samples for Shirts and Tops
Many of the samples in this set will call for interfacing. If you are running short on time, you can bypass interfacing. The purpose of these samples is to 1. familiarize the construction steps of common shirt/top elements, 2. improve craftsmanship.

Sample 24. Use pre-cut pieces of fabric to create this sample. Use the Burrito Method to attach lining or all in one facing to the armholes.
Sleeveless Shell With Slit (this method can be used with lining or with all-in-one facing)

Sample 25. Sleeveless Shell with front placket as an extension.  This sample must incorporate the following: thread tracing the placket folds, interfaced neck facing, understitching on neck facing, bias tape binding of the armhole and bias tape armhole finish.
