This video shows in detail how to thread the Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>DUE September 4 (Friday) on Pinterest<\/strong>\n<p style=\"font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.6; margin: 8px 0;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/y3oAsTlEdAY\">Sewing Machine Samples: Follow Along<\/a> (tension setting sample, spiral, square labyrinth, letter). The letter sample should be completed with zigzag stitch only, utilizing various setting for width and length of the stitch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.6; margin: 8px 0;\">All students (beginner or not) must complete <strong>4 flat sewing samples<\/strong> and pin images of completed samples to their section on our class Pinterest Board. If you have taken a class with me before, your goal is to perfect the control of the sewing machine and challenge yourself with these samples by sewing more densely on the spiral and square labyrinth samples challenging yourself with precision on distances between seams, as well as making these samples using the industrial Juki.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>All sewists\u2014beginner and advanced\u2014are required to watch the videos below by the end of Week 2 at the latest.<\/strong> The sooner the better! New sewists, do not get discouraged if a lot of the terminology is unfamiliar.
