Laser Cutter Settings

  • For muslin or canvas fabric:
    • Sewing Line: cut – 375 speed – 10 power
    • Cut Line: cut – 200 speed – 30 power
  • For fleece fabric:
    • Sewing Line: cut – 350 speed – 10 power
    • Cut Line: cut – 100 speed – 30 power

Homework

The following are due by the beginning of class, Monday, Feb. 14:

Students have a choice of doing either of the following for 2/14:

  • Option 1:
    • To use Rhino 7 to create pattern pieces for one of the Push/Pull Part 1 objects.
    • Upload your Rhino pattern file to this google folder by 10:30am on 2/14 so they can be reviewed before class.
  • Option 2:
    • To have an in-progress review of the development thus far on the Push/Pull Part 1 objects.
    • Bring your objects and in-progress work to class with you.
