Welcome! Today Pneuhaus, an art and design collective specializing in inflatables, will visit us via zoom!

Welcome & A Warm-Up

  • Warm-up led by Georgia and Heejin
    • Reminder: Sign-up here for 2 times to co-lead a warm-up activity (if you haven’t already)
    • Warm-up for next class is led by: Jules and Heejin (let’s move your day to 3/21, would that be okay?)

House Keeping

  • We have been invited by the Animation course to eat a pizza dinner with them (out doors) on Tuesday (3/15), Thursday (3/17) or Tuesday (3/22) at 7pm. It would be to meet each other and get to know one another a little bit as we move into our final project. Which of these evenings would work for you?
  • Talk about installing work on 3/16 for critique (see below)

In-Class

Visiting Artists

Pneuhaus will visit us (via Zoom). They are a really incredible group to learn from. They describe themselves as:

“We are an art and design studio that specializes in exuberant transformations of public space. Our immersive sculptures and environments guide visitors into the universe of their senses and the joys of shared experience. Inspired by physics, biology, and craft, our studio’s work incorporates the lessons of nature in both form and function. “
