Class 3: Project Proposals

Thu. Mar 28, 2024, 5:00PM to 6:20PM, GHC 4211

Please note: room location has changed for the rest of the semester.

The essential objective for today is to present and critique the project proposal from each group.

Announcements

Looking ahead, next class (April 4) we will address technical questions for both programming and lighting design. The following week (April 11) we are off for Spring Carnival.

Each group should select one or two members to act as bridge system operator and send Garth an email listing identities. Garth will then distribute access keys and additional instructions. The details of Pharos system access can be found on Remote Access.

The operators should schedule a time soon to test uploading a new Pharos project to verify access and practice the process. Please use the Office Hours Booking Page for this or email Garth directly if nothing works.

Nighttime sessions to test out material on the bridge can be scheduled using the Pausch Bridge Booking Page. Times may be booked in two hour slots. Unscheduled times are possible, but please defer to groups with scheduled usage.

Project Proposal Presentations

Each group will have roughly fifteen minutes to show your storyboard and hear comments. (Assignment 2)
