Final Project Sketch – Spatial Awareness

We are planning to make a wearable device that uses ultrasonic range sensors to map the depth of the environment the user is in. We will substitute the depth of the environment with tactile feedback in the form of vibration at different points along the belt. We might add a way to get feedback for the magnitude of depth as well as the direction.
