Annabelle is a 5th year Architecture major from Brooklyn, NY. Her extensive architecture experience dates all the way back to high school where she was always really interested in robotics and was even exposed to some digital electronics. Since then she’s done plenty of work with digital fabrication, parametric design, and has even picked up coding techniques to dive into visual programming with Grasshopper and explore new sides of design. The School of Architecture has no coding focused courses, so she has even taken the initiative to take courses such as 15-112 here at CMU in order to further hone her programming abilities. Her three main goals in this class are:

  1. Utilizing more programming to create new things
  2. Further explore her interests in robotics and learn how to use electronics along the way
  3. Apply learned electronic and programming skills and systems to her architecture projects, e.g: motion capture to dynamically change various spaces

Outside of class, she loves watching TV encompassing a wide variety of genres ranging from comedy to sci-fi. Some of her favorites include Rick and Morty, Community, and Futurama.
