For my Marble Run Tile, I picked a simple design involving circular shapes, straight lines and curves. The idea is that the marble can have room to move freely at places while being more constrained in others. The base is the basic square shape and the top is made using the square shape and also cutting out other shapes from it. The tile is assembled using wood glue.
