Mon Oct 28 |
first full prototype |
Wed Oct 30 |
prototype for integration test and rehearsal |
Mon Nov 4 |
integrated prototype to test at School |
Administrative¶
If your prototype will require 3D-printed parts, I can individually show you how to export an STL and submit to the Mosaic printer system using CKS-F24 3D Printer Submissions.
Visit Planning¶
Please note: on Mon Nov 4 we will be meeting directly at the Children’s School for the first prototype test.
General notes:
Everyone: please bring anything you need. If you need power, please bring your own extension cord. Power strips will need plug covers on unused outlets; either avoid them, keep them small, or use every socket.
Please take photos and video documentation, but only from angles which don’t reveal identity. Back of heads are OK, but hands-only views are preferred.
We’ll need to be fast and efficient. Please be as self-sufficient and resourceful as possible. I highly recommend thinking through setup and writing out a checklist. And please keep me informed about any last-minute problems.
These visits are hectic but can be really fun. Please keep your eyes open for surprising reactions from the children, they will teach all us a great deal.
Agenda¶
Discuss upcoming prototype test.
Show craft materials.
Progress review.
Rehearsal.
