Day 18: (Mon Nov 4, Week 11) Children’s School: Prototype Test

Notes for 2024-11-04.

Administrative

Today’s class is devoted to prototype testing at the Children’s School. We will be meeting directly at the Children’s School.

General notes:

  1. Everyone: please bring anything you need. If you need power, please bring your own extension cord. Power strips will need plug covers on unused outlets; either avoid them, keep them small, or use every socket.

  2. Please take photos and video documentation, but only from angles which don’t reveal identity. Back of heads are OK, but hands-only views are preferred.

  3. We’ll need to be fast and efficient. Please be as self-sufficient and resourceful as possible. I highly recommend thinking through setup and writing out a checklist. And please keep me informed about any last-minute problems.

  4. These visits are hectic but can be really fun. Please keep your eyes open for surprising reactions from the children, they will teach all us a great deal.

Five little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head,
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,
“No more monkeys jumping on the bed!”

Four little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head,
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,
“No more monkeys jumping on the bed!”

Three little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped her head,
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,
“No more monkeys jumping on the bed!”

Two little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head,
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,
“No more monkeys jumping on the bed!”

One little monkey jumping on the bed,
He fell off and bumped his head,
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,
“No more monkeys jumping on the bed!”

Option: we could consider adding a ‘reset’ verse:

No little monkeys jumping on the bed,
None fell off and bumped their head,
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,
“Put those monkeys back to bed!”
