Following Garth’s many comments about drawing machines, I thought it would be whimsical and ironic to make an “anti-drawing” machine. The idea here is to create a contraption that uses sensing to prevent the act of drawing or writing itself.

I would imagine this robot to have some high-friction material resting on top of a paper (similar to a paperweight), but would be able to detect motion or proximity (sonar, IR, different options available), and would exert a force or motion unto the paper to prevent the drawing from happening.
