For the final project, I am considering building a setup similar to last week’s demo. I liked the shadows created by the front lit lights and thought it added another layer of visualization to the scene. The robots in my scene would convey a sequential story. I can accomplish this by timing the start of each robot such that only one robot is moving at a time. The lights could also be shined on the robot currently moving to help guide the audience to the sequence of robots. Props like grass cast an interesting shadow, and I believe this idea could be used for my final project to create an interesting backdrop. The grass helped convey the environment of the robots. Although unintentional, the wiring looked like roots in the shadow. With this framework, I believe I could tell a compelling story during my demo.
