  1. Narrative structure:

    1. Dramatic narrative. A sequential storytelling performance with a beginning and end.

    2. Narrative scenario. A non-sequential performance intended to convey or imply a story.

    3. Experiential. Non-narrative presentation.

  2. Interaction:

    1. Human-robot interaction. Some level of physical or interaction between a human and machine.

    2. Robot performance. Not audience interactive.

  3. Autonomous behavior:

    1. Machine autonomy. Some level of independent or generative machine activity; exploring the unknowability of machine goals.

    2. Telepresence or teleoperation. Focus on remote human presence or machine-mediated direct control.
