After messing around on my own piano at home, I became inspired by the amount of expression that can come from playing notes on a piano.

The idea of ‘Piano Tutor’ is that a robot ‘teacher’ is attempting to teach a robot ‘student’ how to play Piano in a type of call-and-response dynamic. The Teacher will play a note and wait for The Student to play the same note back. Should the student succeed, the lesson will continue.
The Student is designed to fail, and when it does (playing the wrong note in response to the Call), The Teacher will repeat the Call and continue to repeat it until the Student plays the correct Response. The more the Student fails, the more ‘angry’ the Teacher will become, playing the Call at a faster and more impatient manner and even slamming down on several keys in a final act of frustration.
