This project is to explore the interaction between human and robot. The robot itself is programmed to do some very basic drawings perfectly, such as flowers and simple geometric patterns (as it is shown in the illustration). However, when a human comes very close to the robot, human’s movement will affect the path which the robot is moving along. As a result, the drawing would look different from what is programmed. The mechanism behind it is that there is a sensor attached to the robot and the robot is programmed to move backwards when a person is approaching it. The potential outcome can vary according to how people interact with the robot, the drawing could be very messy if the person is not experienced or just messing around, but the drawing could turn out to be very creative and great as well.
