Reflection
For this suitcase demo we wanted to explore the idea of having the suitcase create art itself. We decided to go about this by using the motors to control a platform that would be holding some markers or pencils.
Furthermore, we added a block that would be positioned at the correct height so that the markers or pencils would be marking up the block, which is meant to represent a piece of paper. With the code we wanted to try to choreograph a sequence by controlling the speed and rotation direction of the two motors. We first figured out how to try and make the motors move the platform in a singular direction. From the video you can see that we were somewhat able to do that with the platform. Furthermore, in the video we were able to successfully simulate having the markers move around and “draw” on the sheet of white paper on the top.
