Preliminary Performance

Revised for 2025.

Our next objective is a complete end-to-end demonstration of the physical machine interacting with users. Please be prepared to demonstrate your complete interaction during class on the due date.

Requirements

For this milestone, you will need to implement:

1. a functioning performance robot

2. an appropriate mix of remote-controlled and programmed behaviors

3. an interactive performance scenario

You will also need to evaluate your design by documenting at least to live interaction sessions with users outside your group.

Deliverables

Please post report to the appropriate shared folder. The purpose of this report is to document this intermediate result.

Please include the following:

• a project or piece title (updated as needed)

• one paragraph concept statement (updated as needed)

• photographs of the device

• two videos documenting interaction with an outside user

• one or more paragraphs noting suprising results to date

• one or more paragraphs noting outstanding questions
