My approach for this aspect of the assignment was to attach the corners of the fabric with tendons to various holes of the horn. Then, I used a tendon attached to a coffee stirrer to add tension and suspend the fabric. It was interesting to see how the different motor movements changed the folding motion of the fabric.
For my syringe pneumatic, I managed to get the motor to activate shock pneumatic from Assignment 7. However, due to the positioning of the pneumatic on the desk and the power of the system, only the top piece of foam is dramatically animated.
The hand-sewing samples were fun to do. However, I experienced trouble with maintaining consistent spacing between stitches, and I had a lot of trouble getting the hang of the blanket stitch.
