Initially, I had a lot of trouble getting control of the sewing machine, but as I kept going through the samples, I began to get better. I had the most trouble with the concentric circles because it was hard to get the hang of coordinating the rotation of the fabric with the speed of the needle. I had the most fun sewing my initials. It was fun to see all of the cool stitches that can be created simply by turning the dials on the sewing machine. All in all, I still need a lot more practice on the machine, but I am slowly but surely developing some confidence in using it.
