I modified the ticklish code and used a soft pressure sensor to activate the small being I created. The concept for my creature is that it is a small being that has an affinity for attaching itself for human artwork. To ward off predators, when it senses a nearby presence it begins reacting violently.

Some problems I had were with maintaining tension between the motor and the moving parts. This resulted in the motion being considerably less dramatic than I anticipated. However, with some more practice and experimentation, I should be able to get the motor to activate the full range of motions.
