New Assignments

New assignment, due Monday, Feb 28: next iteration of design for mold test.

The 3D print is due Tuesday at 9AM, please plan accordingly. We will discuss which material to test.

This was changed to: The final part is due Wed Mar 2 to show in class. You are responsible for fabricating it yourself, and you may choose any of the four materials as you prefer.

This was formalized after the fact as Part C: Open Mold Fabrication .

Administrative

I’d like to get the orders in for the remaining stock of common materials plus any critical project supplies.

Agenda

  1. Review the outcomes of the bonding workshop. Does your part work?

  2. Today will be the first of many days where the emphasis is on meeting with individual pairs. For each group, we’ll try to resolve:

    1. Design review of the second mold iteration due today.

    2. Discussion and identification of next rate-limiting research steps.

    3. Shopping for critical supplies or parts.

    4. Review any missing assignments or blog posts.
