The signal I chose to convolve was a recording from Hobo Johnson’s TinyDesk concert — the particular clip is transcribed, “You’ll close your eyes, but forever hear the sound, and boy, it’s tough, ’cause that’s the sound of people falling out of love.”
Uplifting.
The four impulse responses I used are as follows:
– a balloon pop, recorded in a hallway on Doherty Level A
– a balloon pop, recorded in a raquetball court in the UC
– the first note of Frank Ocean’s Nikes (obtained very legally)
– Masego singing “tadow” (also obtained very legally)
After splitting each sound on Audacity, I ran the signal through the provided Max patch.
