Music Bot
This robot uses a tuner to determine the note being heard causing the robot to move in a particular direction depending on the note it hears. Through this, kids will learn about the nature of pitch, harmonics and music. This device would be useful when teaching a child how to play a song as they could trace out the path of the robot when a song is played correctly and then try to reproduce that path. If used outside, they could trace the path of a song by tying chalk to the robot and playing the song they are trying to learn. If they aren’t trying to learn a song they could always have fun trying to navigate their robot with their instrument of choice.
The frame of this robot will be made of aluminum, the housing will be plastic, and the motors will be low power so the kids can’t cause too much destruction. It will also be 1 foot wide and 6 inches tall
