Light-a-Sketch

 

This toy deals with creativity with the creation of art via LEDs.

This toy functions similarly to an Etch-a-Sketch, only with a joystick and LEDs. The child uses the joystick (white circle) to control the location of the pointer, or light selected.  (For the sake neatness within this sketch, I drew square LEDs. However, they would most likely be circles. ) To light up the light selected, the child clicks the joystick. To cycle through the different colors, the child clicks the color button. To erase the current light pattern and start over, the child clicks the reset button.

This toy is safe for children of all ages. An Arduino attached to the joystick and buttons would be necessary to control the lighting of the LEDs.
