Spin-Up is a combination of a falling maple leaf toy and a mechanized spinning top. It begins by winding up the top by twisting the bottom then disengaging the gearbox by pulling the bottom out. It will then float down slowly by spinning the propellers. Upon hitting the ground the gearbox will be engaged and the propellers will spin and lift the top off the ground. This will teach children about the effects of gravity as well as how it can be overcome. Spin-Up will be manufactured using a light plastic casing and a basic gearbox so costs should not be too high.
