Color Mixing Top
How it works
Kids can attach different colored segments to the different available segments on the top. When they spin the top, the colors mix together to form a new color. They can see how some colors can be formed by a combination of other colors while other cannot.
What kids learn
By experimenting with the colors, kids can discover for themselves what makes a color primary or secondary as well as how to create different shades of colors.
Age group
This toy is designed for kids aged 3 and up as the parts may pose as a choking hazard for younger children.
Manufacturing
The main body of the top can be made of wood or plastic, with the top surface covered in a magnetic sheet. Each segment can be painted magnetic strips that stick on to the surface of the top.
