Interaction – This toy combines a 2×2 rubix cube with a maze puzzle. One would navigate a small marble from one corner of a cube’s face to the opposite corner, and then through different sides of the cube. The cube has 6 faces, so there are 6 original maze puzzles for users to navigate through. Additionally, the cube can rotate its parts like a rubix cube, so users can rotate parts of the cube to create many more maze puzzles.
Physical Principle – Parts of the cube rotate and the marble slides through the different mazes. This toy would teach kids to solve simple puzzles and create their own puzzles.
Materials/Durability/Safety – The cube and edges of the maze would be made with hard plastic. There would also be a small marble, and a clear hard plastic exterior, so that the marble wouldn’t fall out of the maze.
The toy would be durable, cheap to produce, and would be safe to play with.
