Fairy House Building Kit
As a young child, I had tons of different Lego sets. My sister and I would usually put together our new sets the first day we got them and then after a while of having them built, we wanted to take them apart and build something new. Often times we would build houses or cars for our Barbie dolls or fairies. However, we got frustrated a lot of the time because so many of the Lego colors didn’t match our fairies or didn’t look anything like where a fairy would live. As a little girl, I would have been ecstatic to receive a set of building tools that could actually build something worthy of my fairies living in.
These building tools would be entirely based on things found in nature-according to all of my fairy books, fairy houses are only based on natural objects like flowers, sticks, mushrooms, leaves, etc. They would have some kind of snapping mechanism to attach pieces so they wouldn’t look too much like blocks or Legos.
This kits would be made out of the same plastic as Legos. I think that ages 8 and up would be an appropriate age range for these kits. They would have lots of small, intricate pieces that would need the attention span and care of a slightly older child.
