14 Day After Day House
This toy is a house shaped model without roofs and doors. The idea comes from the music box that have ballet dancers spinning. Besides music, this box will be more active in that it will have changing scenery in the window, changing keys on the piano, and swaying plants. The interaction between children and the toy will be limited, but they would enjoy the music and the changing appealing scenes. People of all ages can play with it.
- This Day After Day House is based on the same principle that normal music boxes also use. It will have a lot of mechanical parts that would involve the use of gears. It would also require a lot of paintings in designing the sceneries.
- After children turn on the winder fo the house, the house will start displaying changes. The music will play, dancer will start to spin, the piano’s keyboard will be pressed down along with the music, and the flowers will also dancing with the music. What’s more, the scenery displayed in the window will be switching from day scene to night scene with rising sun and moon. In this way, children can enjoy the beauty of art and also learn the basic law of the nature: the changing of nights and days.
- Music box materials would be needed; wood panels, paper and fake flowers, plants would be needed; painting tools would be needed to color the house. The house would be relatively strong since there’s no intensive sports activity involved in the game, and it should be safe for children to play.
