This toy is designed to teach the child about springs and their ability to store elastic energy. It is a basic plastic plane that has two spring-loaded slots, into which plastic missiles with rubber tips can be launched from by flipping a switch on the top of the plane. The locking system shown below allows the child to reload the missiles, and is made of hard plastic. The toy is designed for children ages 5 and over, as the projectiles may be a choking hazard and a danger to the eyes.
