Idea #1: Mommy Dino
Mommy Dinosaur is a modular set of dinosaur models that uses a ‘mommy’ brontosaurus as a storage area for other mini models. Kids can take the kits apart and ‘feed’ them into the big dino to store them. There is a hatch on the stomach so they can take the smaller pieces out and build them.
- My toy is based on the principles of learning about dinosaurs. This model could teach kids about the inner workings of monstrous creatures like dinosaurs and how they walked, ate, and defended themselves.
- Almost like a Lego set, kids can learn how to build cool looking models to build a ‘family’ of dinosaurs that they can play with. When finished, they can easily take them apart and stow them inside the main dino.
- It would be constructed mostly out of plastic in a way such that you can break down the smaller models into pieces that are not small enough to be choked on. The mommy dino would not come apart except for the opening on the stomach and mouth.
