Short Description: Walter Heger created an automated irrigation system for his plants controlled by an Arduino . It’s connected to a website for set up and shows the humidity in a chart. The system also integrates Alexa voice controls which responds to commands like turning the lamp on/off and watering the plants.

Response: I really like this project because it’s practical and makes caring for plants easier. As a plant owner myself, I think I would enjoy watering them just through simple voice commands. I also appreciate the clean visual design of the device. I would improve this project by adding the additional feature of setting specific intervals/times for automatic watering periods. This way you won’t have to give the voice command to water them each time and consistently monitor them.
