In this short film, we wanted to convey the element of surprise in revealing a man’s comfort at home. We deliberately used a contrast in camera speeds to quickly convey that the man’s clothes are strewn about his home, but to slowly follow the trail of clothes to eventually reveal him. To construct the main character, we used sculpey over an armature and hand sewed the articles of clothing. The goal here was to make efficient use of the robotic arm provided to us in creating smoothly panned shots over a dollhouse.
