assign: Embroidery Sample, give out hoops and embroidery floss (independent work), due  September 12

demo: winding the warp/threading the rigid heddle loom
Winding the warp may take longer than the class period. Plan on staying after class or finishing the process on your own with a buddy by following a technical video.

Homework for September 5

1. come to class with a warped loom; follow the videos below if your were not able to finish warping your loom in class:
Direct Warping the Cricket Loom (same method as demonstrated in class)
simple warping for rigid heddle loom (shows a different method of tie on to the front apron than what was demonstrated in class)
